Ottawa Humane Society to stop emergency transport of animals

Beginning early next year, the Ottawa Humane Society will stop picking up stray or injured cats and dogs and other animals. The Ontario SPCA had stripped the OHS of its ability to investigate animal cruelty over a year ago. A judge has just dismissed the OHS's legal fight to have that decision overturned.
