Fog advisory turning to mix of sun and cloud, 21 C for Tuesday

Talk about a misty morn.

Ottawa awoke to a fog advisory Tuesday morning with Environment Canada warning that visibility in some areas “may suddenly drop to near zero.”

The fog will burn off with sunrise and then it’s forecast to turn into a mix of sun and cloud with a balmy high of 21 C.

Clouds roll back in overnight with Environment Canada predicting a low of 5 C.

Wednesday is expected to be cloudy with a high of 13 C and low of just 2 C.

For Thursday, expect a mix of sun and cloud, a high of 16 C and low of 7 C.

Friday the 13th is forecast to feature a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 19 C. The mercury is expected to barely budge overnight with a forecast low of 15 C.

Saturday’s forecast is for a mix of sun and cloud, a 40 per cent chance of showers and a high of 19 C and low of 7 C.

The risk of rain rises to 60 per cent Sunday with clouds, a high of 13 C and low of 6 C.

Monday is expected to be 12 C with a 30 per cent chance of showers.
