includes verification of your identity, status, supporting documents, etc. as well as education/experience credentials and is conducted by processing visa post with cooperation of visa post(s) in the country(ies) where you earned experience and education.
b. Background/security check is conducted outside of and ndependently from immigration by Canadian security and intelligence agencies - it looks into your entire life to find out if you are or were involved in any criminal activity, organized crime, espionage, terrorism, radical organizations, crimes against humanity, war crimes, etc. - this task may take anywhere from few months to well over a year, depending from your nationality and countrie s you resided in.

要雇主推荐信，盖章并公证推荐信的真实性。材料不嫌多，越conclusive越 好。

TA/RA算不算工作经验？
如果TA/RA不是你学习和学位(program)的必要部分，比如你不需要作TA同样可以拿到学位， 或者你的学位并不要求thesis/essay但是你仍然做RA，那么可以算。注意这必须是有收入的 (paid work)，volunteer 不行。你应该让你的系里并且/或者导师出具证明说明你每周工作的时间，和总的工作的期 间，工作的职责和你的收入。时间按以下part-time算。注意新法以后TA/RA在NOC上，无论 你申请什么职业这些经验都是有效的，不像旧法要以TA/RA为职业才行。时间上见下一条。
Partime 算不算工作经验？
如果在NOC上，有收入，并不是你教育的一部分，可以算。
full-time的规定是37.5小时一周 ，52周一年。part-time可以以此折合。
