An 81-year-old woman suffered major injuries when she was hit by a vehicle on a sidewalk in Gatineau Wednesday afternoon.
Police say a vehicle backed up and struck the woman as she walked along the sidewalk of St. Joseph Boulevard. They are still investigating the circumstances.
The woman suffered “severe injuries to her legs, abdomen and head,” police said.
