The Ottawa police are asking for assistance in locating a missing woman, Aline Karegeya, who was last seen on Oct. 6.
The 47-year-old Lowertown resident is described as black, 5-7 and 160 pounds. She has very short, curly black hair, speaks both English and French, and uses public transportation. She has a medical condition that requires medicine and her right hand is noticeably cramped. There are concerns for her well-being and safety.
Anyone with information about Karegeya’s whereabouts is asked to contact Ottawa police dispatch at 613-230-6211. If you have information that could assist investigators, but do not know where she is, please contact police at 613-236-1222, ext. 5166.
