Gatineau fire officials are blaming an unattended burning candle for a house fire on Thursday afternoon that caused an estimated $150,000 in damage.
The fire, at a two-storey house at 84 Taché Rd., was discovered by the homeowner shortly after 2 p.m. when she returned home, and took 10 trucks and 21 firefighters almost an hour to extinguish. No one was hurt in the blaze.
