Likely wet – but warm – weekend in the works

More unseasonably warm weather is in the weekend forecast but so is wet stuff, with the risk of showers Friday and Saturday and outright rain Sunday.

Environment Canada predicts increasing cloudiness near noon Friday then a 30 per cent chance of drizzle with a high of 18 C.

The overnight low is only slightly lower at 14 C with a 40 per cent chance of showers.

Saturday is cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of rain, a high of 19 C and low of 12 C.

Periods of rain and a high of 21 C are in Sunday’s forecast with showers and a low of 4 C overnight.

Monday is expected to feature a mix of sun and cloud, a high of 11 C and a low of zero.

The forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday is a mix of sun and cloud, a high of 15 C and a low of 6 C.

Thursday is a mix of sun and cloud again and 15 C.

Typical temperatures for mid-October are highs of 13 C and low of 4 C.
