yes..I am CU 4th year EE student. there are some courses related to IC design I think.....
3rd year 3500 (digital electronics) basicly using Verilog
3908 (Physical Electronics) also basicly fabrication
4th year 4706 (Digital Integrated Electronics) using VHDL and something about FPGA which I didn't take it yet
4707 (Analog Integrated Electronics) using spice or ADS (should be, forgot the name)
4708 (Digital ASIC design) using Verilog, design a Convolution encoder/Viterbi decoder
4609 (Integrated circuit design and fabrication), base on CMOS layout using L-Edit
4506 (CAD for VLSI and communication circuit), using Mat-lab
and also a lot software would be used, such as silos, ModelSim,Max+plusII, Innoveda eProduct Designer etc. So I think it's pretty nice for those people who are interested in it.
