Traffic was a mess and more than than 2,000 users were without power Tuesday morning as the result of a blackout near Woodroffe Avenue and Baseline Road.
The outage occurred at about 8:15 a.m.
Stoplights were out of order at major intersections along Woodroffe, police tweeted. Drivers were reminded to treat all intersections as four-way stops.
Hydro Ottawa said the cause of the outage was not immediately known.
An estimated time for power to be restored was not yet available.
