Bail proceedings for Zachary Wittke have been adjourned for another two weeks.

The 20-year-old Eganville man, who has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death in the wake of a crash in Arnprior on Sept. 25, will remain in custody at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre. On Wednesday, the case was adjourned until Nov. 1 for a video remand.

Assistant Crown attorney Elizabeth Ives-Ruyter told a Pembroke court that disclosure has been sent to Wittke’s lawyer, Paolo Giancaterino.

The accused faces charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, flight while pursued by police, theft of a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle while disqualified.

Sheila Welsh, 65, died when her car was struck on the driver’s side by a stolen silver Ford F150.
