Glebe Collegiate on lockdown after unconfirmed weapon report

Glebe Collegiate Institute was put into “secure school” mode late Thursday morning and Ottawa police were on scene after an unconfirmed report that someone was spotted with a weapon.

All students and staff were safe, both the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board and police reported.

Police said there was no current threat to public safety.
