Another gorgeous sunny day on Monday but showers begin overnight

Monday is gorgeous but it may be the last splash for “Augtober” with rain and the risk of a thunderstorm overnight ushering in cooler weather.

Monday is mainly sunny with a high of 21 C. Showers begin overnight with a low of 18 C, Environment Canada predicts.

Showers end near noon Tuesday then there’s a forecast mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of showers, the risk of a morning thunderstorm and a high of 17 C. There’s a 40 per cent chance of overnight showers Tuesday and a low of 9 C.

Wednesday is expected to be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers, a high of 12 C and low of 7 C.

Thursday’s forecast is a mix of sun and cloud, a high of 13 C and low of 5 C.

For Friday, there’s a mix of sun and cloud and a 30 per cent chance of showers with a high of 15 C and low of 4 C.

Watch for clouds, a 30 per cent chance of showers and highs of just 8 C Saturday and Sunday.
