Workers at more than 400 Quebec daycares — 19 of them in the Outaouais — will strike for one day on Monday, with five more strike days coming that have not yet been identified.
The 11,000 teachers are members of the Confédération des syndicats nationaux (CSN).
Teachers have been without a contract for two and a half years, the union says.
It says there has been progress during negotiations on working conditions, but not on salaries or pensions.
