A woman’s body was found in the ruins of a Monday morning barn fire in Laurentian Valley Township southwest of Pembroke.
Ontario Provincial Police said township firefighters were already on the scene when police received the call at 11:42 a.m.
OPP said the Ontario Fire Marshall had been notified and would investigate.
Police were withholding the victim’s name pending notification of family.
