Ottawa police are at Canterbury High School in the city’s southeast end investigating a “suspicious social media message that was received by a student.”
Police arrived about 8:40 a.m. and were still on the scene at noon.
“There is no lockdown. The school is in secure mode, meaning nobody can come in or out of the school,” said Const. Marc Soucy.
“But in fact normal activities are going on.”
