Mayor Jim Watson will open a new exhibit showcasing the newest additions to the City of Ottawa Art Collection. The exhibition, entitled Longevity: 2017 Additions to the City of Ottawa Art Collection, will be on display at the City Hall Art Gallery between November 16, 2017 and January 7, 2018.
Longevity presents a selection of artworks that entered the City of Ottawa Art Collection in the past year by way of a peer assessment process through purchase, donation and commission. The exhibition features 71 artworks representing 50 artists. Twenty-four of these artists are new to the Collection.
