Environment Canada is predicting snow beginning near noon, then patchy freezing rain across eastern Ontario on Saturday afternoon.
The freezing rain is expected to intensify this evening, with a possible ice accumulation of several millimetres.
Winds will become east at 20 km/hour around noon Saturday.
Freezing rain will slowly change to snow overnight as colder temperatures move in. Snowfall accumulation of 5 to 10 cm are possible by Sunday.
The high will be minus 1 on Saturday, and minus 2 by Sunday morning.
Sunday’s winds will be from the northwest at 20 km/hour, gusting to 40.
