What’s Happening Ottawa provides the latest on theatre, music and outings for the entire family. Some shows sell out quickly, so be sure to look ahead at what’s happening in the coming weeks and get your tickets early. Here is a list of some of the things happening at City facilities this week.
Ottawa welcomes football fans from across Canada this week during the Grey Cup Festival, November 23 to 26. Events are all downtown or at Lansdowne Park. Visit greycupfestival105.ca for details.

Phil Roy – Monsieur

In his first solo show, Phil Roy gives us an all-encompassing portrait of himself, with a hint of immaturity. Many will identify with him and will quickly find that it’s like watching an old friend perform on stage.
Wreath Making Workshop

Thursday, November 23
Join us at Fairfields Historic House and create your own traditional festive wreath just in time for the holiday season. This workshop is led by two uniquely skilled florist demonstrators. Registration is required.
The Mrs. and the Elves

Before tucking Santa’s hardworking elves to bed, Mrs. Claus reads them three stories. Join the Mrs. and the Elves as they bring three favourite Christmas tales to life. Good for all ages
The Dolls’ House – Rag & Bone Puppet Theatre

The doll family are owned by two sisters, Emily and Charlotte, and are very happy, except for one thing: they long for a proper home.
Vintage Village of Lights

Take in the 30,000 lights illuminating the museum, visit with Santa and send a telegram to the North Pole. Let your holiday spirit shine with cookie decorating or a Christmas craft. Singalong to your favourite carol then experience a horse-drawn wagon ride. There’s magic to share with your family, friends, and loved ones of all ages.
