Thursday morning felt like -13 with the windchill but Ottawa is on its way to a high of 2 C.

A few likely wet but balmy days are in store.

Environment Canada is predicting an overnight low of -3 C then Friday’s forecast is for a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 5 C. There’s a 70 per cent chance of nighttime showers and a low of 6 C.

Saturday is expected to be cloudy with a 70 per cent chance of showers and a high of 7 C before the mercury swings back below zero with an overnight 40 per cent chance of flurries or showers and a low of -4 C.

Grey Cup Sunday is expected to be cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of flurries and high of -3 C during the day and 40 per cent chance of flurries overnight with a low of -8 C.

For Monday, expect a wee bit of sun to peek out of mixed skies and a high of -1 C then clouds, a 40 per cent chance of flurries and a low of -3 C.

Tuesday’s forecast is for a mix of sun and cloud, a high of 5 C and a low of 4 C with a 60 per cent chance of overnight showers.

More clouds are in store for Wednesday with a 30 per cent chance of showers and high of 6 C.
