A woman suffered minor injuries Thursday morning when she was struck by a pick-up truck at Fifth and Bronson avenues.

The woman, who was taken to hospital in stable condition with side and head injuries, is the third pedestrian struck this week in Ottawa. Her injuries weren’t considered life-threatening.

Police warned that northbound lanes on Bronson were closed and only one southbound lane was open during the morning commute. The crash scene was cleared by mid-morning.

Police are still investigating a Little Italy hit-and-run that left a woman in her 20s in critical condition Monday. The car was recovered in the city’s west end.

On Tuesday, a woman in her 50s was critically injured when she was struck by a small van at St. Laurent Boulevard and Belfast Road.
