Firefighters quickly extinguished a kitchen fire early Saturday morning and saved the family’s pets.
Ottawa Fire Services reports they received a 911 call of a kitchen fire at 1272 Trenton Ave., in the Carlington area of Ottawa.
They confirmed a working fire at 12:03 a.m., shortly after arriving on scene.
There were no injuries reported.
The fire investigator as well as victim services responded to the two-story, four unit building.
