Environment Canada is predicting a mixed bag of conditions for the rest of the week, but all of them say: Winter is here.

Wednesday is expected to see a mix of sun and cloud, with brisking winds gusting to 50 km/h at times.

The high is expected to climb all the way to 0 C.

Wednesday night should remain partly cloudy, with continuing gusty winds and a low of -4 C.

Cloud coverage continues into Thursday with a 30 per cent chance of flurries late in the afternoon and a high of 0 C.

Much the same is predicted for Thursday night, when the temperature is expected to tumble to -7 C.

The sun might peek out Friday, with a continuing 30 per cent chance of flurries and a high of -1 C.

Friday night should see a 40 per cent chance of flurries and a low of -6 C.

Saturday signals a serious chill, with a forecast high of -5 C and a 40 per cent chance of flurries before tumbling to an overnight low of -14 C.

Sunday is expected to be sunnier, but still brisk, with a high of only -10 C.
