Ottawa police have released photographs of a man suspected of breaking into a Westboro-area home and using stolen credit cards.
According to police, someone broke into a home on the 700 block of Byron Avenue, near Richmond Road on Tuesday during the daytime hours. The person allegedly took a number of items, including bank and credit cards.
The cards were used at various locations in the Vanier area later that day, police said. Photos released by police on Thursday show a man allegedly making a purchase with one of the stolen credit cards.
Police said the suspect was seen driving a white SUV at another location.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information can call the police break and enter unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 2655.
