Police say an Ottawa woman’s family is “greatly concerned” for her safety after the woman disappeared without the daily medication she takes.

Angela Banks (Bourdeau), 37, was reported missing Thursday but police said Friday morning that it’s not known how long she had been gone.

She is described as Caucasian, five feet two inches tall and 130 pounds, with mid-length hair with red highlights and hazel eyes. She wears glasses.

She was driving a black 2013 Volkswagen Jetta with Ontario licence plates BSHV795.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 613-236-1222. Those with information that could help investigators other than her current location is asked to call the missing persons unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 2355. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 or by downloading the Ottawa Police app.
