Environment Canada has issued a weather travel advisory for the region, saying to watch out for brief, heavy flurries Wednesday morning.

The squalls “could result in locally reduced visibilities and poor winter driving conditions,” the agency said.

Snowfall amounts are expected to be limited from two to five cm.

And then, after a clear Wednesday evening, it looks like slightly below seasonal temps with a chance of snow every day this week.

Thursday should see increasing clouds in the morning, with a high of -11 C in the morning. Thursday night arrives with a 30 per cent chance of snow and a low of -18 C.

Friday, weather folks see a 60 per cent of at least flurries in the day, and 70 per cent through the night. Temperatures Friday are expected to stay in the -11 C to -12 C range.

Saturday is expected to be warmer, with a high of about -2 C, but there’s still a 60 per cent chance of snow in the day.

Saturday night, it looks like a 30 per cent chance of flurries, with a low -11 C.

The sun should come out Sunday, at least a mix of sun and cloud with a high of -7 C.

But, of course, Sunday night looks like a 30 per cent chance of snow and low of -12 C.
