Pedestrian in critical care after being hit and dragged three blocks

A 52-year-old man is in life-threatening condition after being hit and dragged by a vehicle near Baseline Road and Merivale Road. Ottawa Paramedics responded to the scene and found the man, three blocks from where he had reportedly been hit.

Paramedics treated the man for critical, life-threatening injuries, including re-warming the man. He was then transferred to the Trauma Service at the Ottawa Hospital.

Ottawa Police are investigating.
