In April, Ottawa’s only publicly funded abortion clinic was at a breaking point over what it said was years of intimidation and harassment from protesters. Alison Mah’s reporting on the story led to the creation of a provincial “bubble zone” law, which draws 50-metre zones outside abortion clinics where pro-life demonstrators can’t set up.
