Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in locating a 59-year-old woman who walked away from a care facility Thursday night.
Emelita Viado was last seen at about 11 p.m. at her residence on Carling Avenue near Edgeworth Avenue. She is believed to have wandered off.
Viado has dementia and may appear confused.
She is of Filipino descent, about four feet nine inches tall weighing 180 pounds with short black hair.
She is believed to be wearing a grey winter jacket, black pants, and crocs.
Anyone with information regarding Viado is asked to contact Ottawa police at 613-236-1222.
