We’re running out of adjectives to describe the weather so let’s just say that Friday is frigid.
Environment Canada’s extreme cold warning is still in effect Friday with a forecast high of -19 C under a mix of sun and cloud with winds of up to 15 km/h creating a wind chill of -35. There’s a 30 per cent chance of morning flurries.

While we remain in the freezer, Environment Canada has lifted its extreme cold warnings in other nearby communities such as Brockville, Gananoque and Belleville.
The overnight low is -25 C with a wind chill of -30.
Take a moment to check all your windows and doors to make sure they aren't frozen shut. You may need them as your second means of egress in the event of a #fire. #GetOutAlive #2WaysOut #PolarVortex #OttWeather pic.twitter.com/N0hnTFvzST
