There is no pickup scheduled for New Year’s Day. Residents can expect service delays by one day for the rest of the week, with Saturday as a makeup day.
Christmas trees will be collected on the same day as the green bin. They must be put out no later than 7 a.m., with decorations removed.
Parking
All parking regulations and restrictions imposed by the City of Ottawa apply on statutory holidays. Don’t forget to watch for winter parking bans issued for snow clearing. When snow bans are in effect, residents can park overnight for free at city-run parking garages.
