Wanted man nabbed at theft-in-progress, police say

A man wanted by police on a string of outstanding warrants was arrested as patrol officers responded to a theft-in-progress on Sussex Drive, the break-and-enter unit said Tuesday.

On Thursday, police asked the public to help them track down 40-year-old Casey Leigh Boland, who officers said faced both “numerous” outstanding arrest warrants and had new charges pending.

Boland was arrested around 12:15 a.m. Sunday as officers responded to the call and “encountered this suspect as a result.”
