Ottawa police are seeking public assistance to track down a knife-wielding suspect who held up a Vanier convenience store Dec. 10.
Police said the robbery occurred at about 5:40 p.m. when the suspect went into a convenience store on the 300 block of Shakespeare Street. The man, described as “partly disguised” demanded cash and was handed an undisclosed amount of money.
There were no injuries.
The suspect is as Caucasian, 35-45 years old, wearing glasses. He was also wearing a distinctive, multi-coloured coat, blue jeans and a hooded jacket.
