Police are asking for help in tracking down the suspects who broke into a Baribeau Street school in Vanier and made off with trumpets, saxophones, a Yamaha keyboard and a seven-piece drum kit.
The suspects “unlawfully gained entry” just before 5 a.m. on Nov. 26 and made off with the items worth about $10,000, police say.
They think the suspects may be trying to sell them for cash.
Anyone with information is asked to call the city police break and enter unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 4533. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 or by downloading the Ottawa Police app.
