I declined an offer from this company long time ago. But it's a interesting job, travelling from Ottawa -> London -> Moscow -> Beijing.

MDS designs and develops test facilities for the development, production and overhaul testing of industrial and aviation gas turbine engines. These facilities provide engine manufacturers and over haulers with cost effective, efficient and safe testing environments.
We are looking for creative well-rounded candidates who are proficient at designing and implementing GUI applications in Visual Basic\ C++ in a Windows environment, taking advantage of COM/DCOM technologies.
Candidates should have:
* between 2 and 5 years current experience in object oriented software analysis, design and programming
* possess a BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
* experience with databases such as Oracle, FoxPro and/or MS Access. Proficiency with ADO and SQL would be an asset
Other pertinent skills include:
* knowledge of Microsoft Foundation Classes
* knowledge of UML, and experience using Rational Rose
* familiarity with multi-threaded programming, synchronisation techniques, and inter-process communication mechanisms
* activeX controls and automation design
* VB scripting
* TCP/IP Networks
* familiarity with UNIX systems
* excellent oral and written communication skills
An energetic team player working in a multi-disciplined and project oriented environment. Some international travel may be required.
