A flu outbreak at the Ho^pital de Hull has prompted Outaoauis health authorities to implement additional safety measures.
To prevent the flu’s spread, patients will be limited to one visitor at a time.
Visitors must also wear a mask and wash their hands beforehand, and any visitors with a fever or respiratory problems are asked to postpone their visit.
These rules currently apply only to the Ho^pital de Hull and its clinics inside, but may be enforced later at other hospitals pending the spread of the flu, the regional authority said.
