A man died of cardiac arrest after his car struck a pole on St. Laurent Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon.
It was not immediately clear whether the man, believed to be in his 50s, suffered the cardiac arrest before or after the crash.
Police and other emergency services were called to the scene on St. Laurent Boulevard, near McArthur Avenue, at 3:18 p.m. The man was extricated from his car and emergency crews began CPR.
The man was later pronounced dead in hospital. His name has not been released.
