Winterlude weather word: Snow

If you look out the window, you’ll see today’s forecast in real life. Snow.

Environment Canada is predicting five to 10 cm for Sunday. Winds will be out of the south at 20 km/hour, moderating temperatures somewhat.

Unlike yesterday’s frigid conditions, the temperature will hover around zero and the wind chill will be in the -5 C to -8 range.

Tonight should see flurries, with a low of -12 C and Monday will be be clearing with stronger winds and a high of -8 C.

Here’s what the Winterlude triathlon (which became a duathlon without snow for skiing) looked like yesterday.
