Renfrew OPP reports that officers have a “massive” investigation underway after hundreds of mailboxes were smashed or stolen in a weekend binge.
“Several suspects have been identified and charges are pending,” the community street crime unit reported.
It happened in McNab Braeside, Admaston and Greater Madawaska townships over the weekend of Feb. 2-5.
Police released few details but appealed for any victims who haven’t yet reported to police to call investigators at 1-888-310-1122.
