Ottawa police are investigating an armed robbery at a Vanier pot shop Saturday afternoon that saw a shot fired by one of three assailants, who fled with cash and drugs.
Police were called to 613 Medicinals at 274 Montreal Rd. just before 3 p.m.
One person inside the dispensary was assaulted during the robbery but was not injured as a result of gunfire. Police said the person’s injuries are considered minor.
Police had cordoned off the shop for their investigation, before the illegal marijuana dispensary closed for the day around 4 p.m.
No arrests have yet been made.
The Ottawa police robbery squad continues to investigate.
