Man in serious condition after four-wheeler strikes tree

A 39-year-old man was in serious condition after a four-wheeler hit a tree near Stagecoach Road on Thursday afternoon, Ottawa paramedics said.

Paramedics received a call at 4:20 that the crash had occurred about 150 metres from Stagecoach near an off-road trail.

The man had suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital in an Ornge helicopter.
