Is it easier to get a divorce in Canada or in China?

For a couple of immigrants (not Canadian citizen), is it easier to get a divorce here in Canada or in China? Does the couple have to be both present in China to get a divorce? Who can help?

It depends how you want to help. It is easier in China, but there is much less protetion.

In Canada, the standard of protection is much higher. If your friend has less income, or no income, it would be definitly better to do it here. He or she would have better financial protection and others.

There is no dispute. Both parties just want to have a quick and painless departure. Assets distribution is negotiated privately.

Probably one can find a friend in China to be his or her representative, better go to the embassy and ask. I know if one party is outside of China, this works, not sure of both......
