Gatineau police have been at the scene of a residential home since Thursday night, with their investigation focused inside and outside the home.
A police spokesperson offered little detail, only that the officers are at a home at Rue de Chazel in Gatineau, at the corner of Rue Lemaire in Gatineau’s Le Baron neighbourhood.
On Friday afternoon, a number of Gatineau officers, including officers in plain clothes, returned to the site.

Police photographers seemed to concentrate their efforts on a shed at the rear of the property.
“We confirm that we are investigating an event that occurred (Thursday) around 10:30 p.m.,” said police spokesperson Const. Andrée East.
“We are still on the scene and the investigation is still ongoing.”
