Ottawa police are asking for help identifying a suspect who allegedly broke into a business on Merivale Road.
The man broke a window and entered a business on Merivale just south of Carling Avenue about 3:50 a.m. on Jan. 20, police allege. He searched around inside but didn’t take anything. Police aren’t identifying the business.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, wearing a dark jacket with a grey hooded jacket underneath, and a grey baseball cap.
Anyone with information regarding this break and enter, or any other break and enter, is asked to call the Ottawa police’s break and enter unit at (613) 236-1222, extension 2655. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by downloading the Ottawa Police app.
