MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais police are seeking to locate a missing 51-year-old woman who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder.

Diane Lafontaine was reported missing from her Chelsea residence around 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 28. Police said Friday her family has “reasons to fear for her safety.”

Lafontaine’s white Mazda 3 with the license plate Y99 MLF is believed to have been seen on St. Joseph Boulevard on March 6, travelling south in the Hull sector, near the Alonzo-Wright Bridge. Police said they could not confirm the identity of the driver at that time.

Lafontaine is described as a 5-3 white woman with brown hair, weighing around 16o pounds. She was last seen wearing black pants, a grey T-shirt, a navy blue coat, a red scarf and glasses. Police said she has a scar on her mouth and on her right shoulder.

Police ask anyone with information about the location of Lafontaine to call 911.
