The fire marshall and provincial police are investigating a fatal fire in Clarence-Rockland on Friday.
Firefighters responded to the fire on Caron Street in the morning and temporarily closed the road between Laurier Street and County Road 17. The fire was extinguished by mid-afternoon, but firefighters located a body inside the building.
The cause and origin of the fire had not been determined. The identity of the victim had not been released.
