An Ottawa man faces four criminal charges arising from a fatal highway collision last week in Toronto.
Police say the March 21 collision happened on the Gardiner Expressway, which runs across the south end of the city, between a Hyundai Sonata and a BMW.
A 28-year-old passenger in the Hyundai died in hospital the next day. The remaining occupants of the vehicles were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said Wednesday.
A 23-year-old Ottawa man, Abdihared Bishar Mussa, is charged with dangerous driving causing death, criminal negligence causing death, dangerous driving cause bodily harm and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
