Police ask for public's help to identify robbery suspect

The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect who is believed to have been involved in a robbery outside a Centrepointe bank on March 19 at around 7 p.m.

According to police, a person tried to access a bank at 117 Centrepointe Dr. when they were approached by a man who demanded cash. Police did not provide any details about the incident after the man made his demand.

The man is described as black, standing between five feet seven inches and five feet nine inches (170-175 cm) tall, with a medium build. He was clean-shaven when last seen and is believed to be English-speaking. At the time of the incident the man was wearing a light-coloured winter jacket with fur around the hood.
