Ottawa’s long-range forecast has every kind of wet weather with flurries, rain and freezing rain threatening.

Tuesday kicks it off with a 30 per cent chance of morning flurries turning into a 40 per cent chance of showers or flurries and a high of 5 C.

Skies clear overnight as the mercury drops to -5 C

For Wednesday, expect increasingly-cloudy skies, a 60 per cent chance of afternoon showers and a high of 7 C. Overnight, there’s a 60 per cent chance of flurries and a low of -4 C.

Thursday’s forecast is for periods of freezing rain or rain, a high of 8 C and a low of -1 C that comes along with a 40 per cent chance of rain or flurries overnight.

Friday is a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of showers, a high of 7 C and a low of 1 C.

It’s still days away but a risk of not just flurries but outright snow is back in the forecast for the weekend.

Saturday is cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of rain or snow, a high of 5 C and a low of 0 C.

For Sunday, the early word is for clouds, a 60 per cent chance of flurries or showers and a high of 5 C then a 70 per cent chance of rain and low of 2 C overnight.

Monday’s forecast is for clouds, a 70 per cent chance of rain and 7 C.
