Fingers crossed that Friday is the final appearance of flurries in the forecast.

There’s a 40 per cent chance of them in the morning then some sunshine peeks through cloudy skies with a blustery high of 7, Environment Canada predicts.

Watch for a dense haze around Parliament Hill, though. It’s 420, the day when cannabis enthusiasts congregate.

It’s back to a chilly -4 C overnight but northwest winds at 20 km/h should become light.

Then it’s days of pure sunshine and increasingly balmy temperatures.

Saturday is 10 C with a low of -3 C, Sunday is 13 C with a low of 4 C and Monday is 17 C with a low of 5 C.

Expect a few clouds to creep in Tuesday with mixed skies, a high of 16 C and a low of 7 C.

Cloudy skies and a 40 per cent chance of showers are on tap for Wednesday and Thursday with highs of 12 C and 11 C respectively.

The Great Ottawa Migration tomorrow will take place when the 420 crowd at Parliament Hill realizes that it's Poutine Fest at City Hall

April is supposed to be warmer. Of the 6 warmest days so far this year, only 1 of them has been during April. #OttWx
