Police found shell casings after responding to reports of shots fired in the Heron Gate neighbourhood Thursday night.
They were called to Baycrest Drive near Heron Road at 10:30 p.m. There were no arrests and no reports of injuries.
It was the third incident in the area in as many nights in which police responded to reports of gunfire that was confirmed by shell casings.
At 12:20 a.m. Thursday, police were called to Ledbury Avenue near Banff Avenue. They had been called to Cedarwood Drive and Walkley Road at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday.
